St. Leonards Motors Group are looking for a motivated and keen individual with a strong aptitude for developing their skills. Within this role you will assist with the maintenance and ongoing development of IT and telephony systems across multiple sites within the expanding company, that now operates from Sussex, Kent and Norfolk and employs over 320 people.
Main duties include:
- Maintenance of network equipment, servers and PC workstations
- Fault-finding software, hardware and network troubleshooting
- Maintenance and upgrades of CCTV and intruder systems
- Replacement and maintenance of data cables and network hardware
- Maintenance of telephony hardware and software
The skills to problem solve and troubleshoot will be greatly utilised in the position as will be the ability to work under pressure. Good time management will be important as the role will involve carrying out tasks across multiple locations during the course of a day.
Candidates must have a full driving licence as the role will involve travelling between multiple sites and may also require overnight stays.
Experience and/or qualifications in the field are desirable and a general understanding of basic IT is essential. The successful candidate will receive full on-job training and subject to a successful probation period, will be enrolled on relevant industry training and accreditation courses to allow a strong career development.
Company laptop and mobile phone will be provided and following completion of a probation period, a company car will also be supplied for business and private use.
