The role I play within the dealership is to give the best possible advice in regards to the Motability scheme.
I know that having a car goes a long way to giving you the ability and freedom to do all the things you want to do. And although advice on the car you need is aimed at the person receiving the allowance I also believe it is about your lifestyle as well, you may have hobbies, pets, grandchildren and all these things need to be considered when finding you the right car.
At our dealership we offer the broadest variety of vehicles available with the widest range of specifications to suit every need and as one of the founder members of the motability scheme Vauxhall has established itself as one of the largest suppliers of vehicles to disabled drivers and their families and is rated as a premier partner.
I have built a good customer rapport within the community and surrounding areas providing a high standard of service.
I have been continually trying to promote awareness of the scheme and make it more accessible to those who could benefit.
| Things I have been doing are advertising in the local voluntary services magazine which is available in most hospital reception areas, by sponsoring an advert with them we are supporting the magazine that would not be published without its advertisers.
I also have a spot on the local hospital radio, and supply leaflets to accessible points of contact for the community like Age Concern, Citizen's Advice Centre and the Local Information Centre to name but a few.
Supporting our local disabled school for children we sent fifty pound vouchers home for anyone joining the scheme in all the children's book bags in exchange for this we donated a sum of money to the school to buy equipment from the wish list the children have.
I have received good feedback from customers about the scheme and with the right advice and help how easy it is to become a part of it.
