Last week Ben Nash was at Hanbury Manor Golf Club up near Hartford, playing in a 36 hole TP Tour Event. In the field was a young Tom Lewis who lead the Open Championship in 2011 at Royal St George's and went on to win the Portugal Masters. Ben started very well with a birdie on the second. This plus one drop shot saw Ben get to the 9th in level par. Bogeys at the 13th/14th/15th and the 17th holes plus a horrible bound at the last hole, which saw the ball go out of bounds, all contributed to an unlucky game. During the following round Ben was miles out of contention and ended up finishing 25th. 'It was a tough golf course, I thought I played it well but there was a little lapse in concentration towards the end of the first round which blew my chances.'
