Vauxhall ADAM Rocks Looks the Part

  • Reviewing the Vauxhall ADAM, Fleet World says that “with the sporty Grand Slam and crossover-inspired Rocks, it’s even easier for owners to make the upmarket city car unique” thanks to an “extensive list of exterior colour accents, alloy wheels and other upgrades.” Alex Grant writes that the ADAM Rocks “certainly looks the part”. The 1.0-litre turbo petrol enginehas a “wide power band and lively performance, combined with a faint three-cylinder growl under load” and a “snappy new six-speed gearbox”. Plus, “with a little restraint, it can return over 50mpg while cruising”. The retractable fabric roof on Air versions “is so well insulated that it’s almost unnoticeable when it’s closed.” The interior features “soft-touch materials and accents of colour. The sports seats are very comfortable too.” In summary, Grant says that “Vauxhall has done a convincing job of offering a different ownership experience with the ADAM, and the Rocks builds on that feeling of being bespoke. It looks and feels like a chic premium city car.”
