Sales Manager

Due to expansion and internal promotion St Leonards Motors are looking for an experienced Sales Manager to take over their Vauxhall dealership in St Leonards on Sea.

SLM consider this to be a senior role and as such you will be required to work closely with the retail operator to ensure that all company and manufacturer targets are met whilst adhering to, and implementing all company policies.

The ideal applicant must be enthusiastic and proactive with a good eye for detail, passion and energy for delivering the highest standards of customer service as well as strong business results. The candidate should demonstrate excellent sales and people management skills and fully understand all aspects of the Sales Department Process including stock management, finance, value added products and digital lead management.

Experience in running a site of this size is essential, with a track record in delivering performance and demonstrating effective communication skills at all levels. This site is currently the top performing Vauxhall dealership in the South East in terms of market share, and CSI with a stable and knowledgable team already in place to assist you in your new role.

Trainee Sales Executive

SLM Vauxhall Are looking for a new Trainee Sales Executive. You do not require any experience for this position as both in house and manufacturer training will be provided. However you must have the sort of personality that can help you build rapport with our customers very quickly, and to put them at ease.

You will be immaculately presented with an extremely professional approach and will be comfortable communicating with both our customers and other staff members.

Your strengths will be in your ability to qualify our customers effectively to ensure that you make informed product recommendations to benefit the customer. You will be extremely numerate, well organised and completely comfortable with making presentations.

You will be required to work 11 days every two weeks which will include every Saturday and some Sundays on a rota basis. In return you will be offered a basic salary which will rise with experience and rewarding commission scheme. You will also receive a company car after a qualifying period and 22 days holiday per year.
